Introducing SEKA

SEKA Bikes was founded in Shanghai with a clear ambition: to create some of the fastest and most technically advanced all-round road bikes available. Its philosophy is built around four values — Sage, Exceed, Keep and Artist — combining data-led development, relentless refinement and distinctive design. The result is a range of framesets engineered to compete with the established names in high-performance cycling.

Engineering That Starts With the Material

-

At the heart of the flagship Spear is an advanced carbon construction using six different fibre grades, including TeXtreme and Mitsubishi DIALEAD PITCH 65T and 80T. True-One-Piece Moulding eliminates bonded joints for reduced weight and increased structural performance, while strategically placed PMI foam improves buckling resistance. The Spear uses around 350 individually cut carbon pieces, refined through more than 30 layup iterations.

Tested in the Same Wind Tunnel as Formula One

-

Developed with AeroCoach at the Silverstone Sports Engineering Hub, the Spear underwent extensive aerodynamic testing involving more than 280,000 data sets. The result is a 6-watt reduction in drag at 40km/h versus the previous Exceed frameset, equivalent to a claimed 15.27-second saving over 40km at constant speed.

The Wind Eye: Speed Meets Comfort

SEKA’s distinctive Wind Eye rear structure is designed to improve both aerodynamics and compliance. By controlling airflow between the seat tube and rear wheel, it saves a claimed 2.66 watts at 40km/h, while its engineered flex allows up to 17mm of seatpost deflection and delivers 23% greater vertical compliance without sacrificing lateral or torsional stiffness.

The Frameset Range & Integrated Cockpits

The UK range centres on the Spear road platform and ExAero GR gravel frameset. Spear is offered in Standard and lightweight RDC specifications, with the RDC weighing a claimed 685g in size M unpainted. Each platform is paired with a purpose-built integrated cockpit: the aerodynamic Rapier for Spear and gravel-focused Gladius GR for ExAero GR, reinforcing SEKA’s approach of developing the frame and cockpit as one complete performance system.
